The Secret Life of Pets Kansas City Free Screening Ticket Giveaway

If you are an animal lover, this post is for you! The Secret Life of Pets will be in theaters and Real D 3D on July 8 and it looks AMAZING. I grew up with dogs and cats and we now have two dogs that are important parts of our family. Our 10 year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi Buddy is king of the house and Doc, our 7 year old lab/terrier mix is always full of energy and ready to play.

Grace recently asked me what they do when we're gone and I told her I wish I knew. The Secret Life of Pets might just answer that question for us!

For their fifth fully-animated feature-film collaboration, Illumination Entertainment and Universal Pictures present THE SECRET LIFE OF PETS, a comedy about the lives our pets lead after we leave for work or school each day.

Comedy superstars Louis C.K., Eric Stonestreet and Kevin Hart make their animated feature-film debuts in The Secret Life of Pets, which co-stars Jenny Slate, Ellie Kemper, Lake Bell, Dana Carvey, Hannibal Buress, Bobby Moynihan, Steve Coogan and Albert Brooks. Illumination founder and CEO Chris Meledandri and his longtime collaborator Janet Healy produce the film directed by Chris Renaud (Despicable Me, Despicable Me 2), co-directed by Yarrow Cheney and written by Cinco Paul & Ken Daurio and Brian Lynch.

THE SECRET LIFE OF PETS has been rated PG (Parental Guidance Suggested – Some Material May Not Be Suitable for Children) for action and some rude humor. Visit the official site: www.thesecretlifeofpets.com

I'm excited that my family gets the chance to see an early screening of this film and two of you will get the chance to bring your families to see it with us!

  1. We have two dogs, a golden and a Sheltie. The golden goes between barking at anything that moves out the window and sleeping. Our Sheltie spends his day sleeping upside down in the bathroom waiting for us to let him out of our room. :). Jmurrow0110@gmail.com.

  3. I'm pretty confident my blind pug, Lucy, just barks at the noises she hears all day but can't quite pinpoint where they're coming from. And my deaf bulldog, Matilda, she sleeps with her
snoopy toy all day. Gotta love our special needs pups! :) Email: Laura.beth08@yahoo.com

  4. We've got a black cat named Bo Jackson. We think during the day while we are gone he stands on his back paws and dances to "Uptown Funk" and meows really loud like he is singing. He always waves at the neighbors cat. Anytime we have hot dogs, he gets in the fridge and eats them.

  5. Hi!!! Our four kids run like wild beast around the house and our 7year old German Shepard .... Well Shepard them back to reality lol. I think when we are gone she talks to the beta fish in a mobster voice about how she runs the house. Then goes and rolls around in our bed and does an evil laugh! B.ebert@live.com

  6. We don't currently have any pets but I was sure that our German shepherd would roam free looking for the most destructive path she could take! She once tore apart an entire door while we were gone. Shreds of wood everywhere! Email is jkitching7@gmail.com. thanks!

  9. They chew...everything. They're little jerks. We just got a new puppy this week and I'm down a slipper, 3 flip flops (all from different pairs, of course), a boot pull, an EXPENSIVE heel, a wedge sandal, and a build-a-bear. I can't seem to remember to leave my closet doors closed.

  10. I am pretty sure my dogs play with the Star Wars toys. They probably have epic battles and sometimes the battles end up all over the house. Pretty sure our black dog thinks he is Darth Vader :)

  12. When I lived with my ex we had dogs and I think Gizmo took baths, ate a bunch of junk food and laid out in the sun. She didn't mind well so I'm sure she did the exact oppodite of the 3 simple rules given by Mr. Wing lol treighsmommy@gmail.com

  13. We have a maltepoo named, Louie, and a black lab named, Molly. Molly is still a puppy but us already huge. I'm pretty sure they throw parties when we're gone and some if them get a little wild. The other day we came home and all of our seat cushions from the back patio were all over our backyard and Molly and Louie were both passed out. MiaPrier@gmail.com

  14. We have an American bulldog and I am positive she does all the things she knows she shouldn't do! She jumps on the counter, makes herself comfy on the couch and in our bed. I think she can sniff us from a mile away because we never catch her in the act! Rotten!
