Holiday Gift Guide: Mega Bloks- Inspiring Creativity With Fun!

Disclosure: I received these products for free to facilitate this review. No other compensation was received and all opinions are 100% my own and honest.

We received our first Mega Bloks Big Building Bag when Grace turned one and it is one of the only toys that I refuse to get rid of. We have added several more building bags and Mega Bloks sets to our collection and they are played with constantly. These large, colorful blocks are perfect for toddlers and preschoolers because of their size; there are no tiny choking hazards to worry about! They encourage children's creativity and I know that Mike and I enjoy playing with them too. We've used them to build towers, animals, vehicles, if our children could dream it, we've built it!

I knew I wanted to share Mega Bloks in my holiday gift guide since they are by far one of our favorite toy brands. I was thrilled when they offered to send us several toys for our kids and I had to hurry to take this picture before they tore into the boxes.

Connor went right for the Fast Tracks Raceway (retail $19.99). I quickly followed the instructions to build the raceway shown on the box.

They played with this for an HOUR. I couldn't believe it, they happily played together with no fighting because there are two tracks and two cars! I have never seen them play with a single toy that long. It was amazing. They were so excited to show Mike when he got home from work. Of course, unlike me who likes to follow instructions, Mike is an engineer and he decided to create an even cooler configuration:
This tall track kept them entertained all evening. There are so many ways to play with these tracks, they are such a great accessory. The provided cars are the perfect size for toddler hands. We play with it almost every day now. When shopping for a birthday gift for another 2 year old little boy, Grace picked this set out at the store with no hesitation saying that he would love it. That's the ultimate approval from her!

The ABC Spell School Bus (retail $14.99) is also a fun addition to our collection. Connor loves all vehicles so he had fun "vrooming" the bus all over the house.

Grace is obsessed with wanting to take the school bus to school so she loved it. It's been a fun way to work on her letters during play.

I cannot say enough good things about Mega Bloks. I love how they encourage my kids creativity! I have several sets on each of my children's Christmas lists and I'm really thinking about buying this 1-2-3 Count with Thomas set for Connor:
Mega Bloks features sets for kids of all ages so you are sure to find something for every child on your holiday shopping list. Check out all of their amazing products at and connect with them on Facebook and Twitter!

Thank you to Mega Bloks for the fun sets!
