Holiday Gift Guide: Stocking Stuffers for Kids

Disclosure: I received samples of these products to facilitate the reviews. All opinions are 100% honest and my own. No other compensation was received.

As a kid, I loved running out on Christmas morning to find my stocking filled with small goodies. Now as a parent, I struggle with finding things that are age appropriate and fun for my kids so I thought I'd share some of my favorite stocking stuffer ideas for this year!

Sofia The First Spot It!- Alphabet

Little ones learn their ABCs with Princess Sofia and all her pals. Each card is decorated with an assortment of enchanting images from her kingdom, making learning so much fun! Players race to spot the matching letter or image between two cards, building essential skills for preschool and beyond. Between any two cards, there is always one match. The first person to spot it wins! Let Sofia be the first princess to welcome your preschooler to the alphabet.

This game from Blue Orange Games is a new favorite for Grace. The rules are simple and easy for preschoolers to learn. Grace loves identifying all of the Sofia characters and it's been a great way to help work on her letter identification. They have been working on finding similarities between things at preschool so she loves telling me that the letters or characters are the same. We've also used to it work on big vs small (ie tell me which character is biggest. Which letter is smallest?) When you are done playing, you simply store the cards in the cute little tin that is the perfect size to stick in your purse for travel or long wait times. Blue Orange Games offers many other Disney themed Spot It! games. I think I might have to get Connor the Pixar characters version next year!

Poochie & Co Puppy Purse

If you have a little girl that is an animal lover, she will love a Poochie & Co purse! They offer many different dog breeds, several choices of cats, and even an alligator! Grace received an adorable puppy purse with a pink sequined body that she absolutely adores. She hasn't decided on the puppy's name yet, but when she does there is a cute little heart tag on the collar that we will fill out. The metallic strap is the perfect size for her and she is so proud that she now has a purse "like mommy!" A sequined puppy purse is sure to be a hit for the little fashionista animal lover in your life.

Silikids Silimap
The Silimap from Silikids is a great stocking stuffer for kids of all ages. It folds up easily and is compact enough to fit in a diaper bag or purse. Grace is starting to get interested in where she lives so this placemat is the perfect introduction to geography (at a very basic level!) She can point to where we live and we talk about the places that we have been. Her favorite part is that you can draw on it with non permanent markers and it wipes off clean. I love that it is dishwasher safe and that it is large enough to actually be used as a placemat. So many kids placemats are small and don't do much to help if there is a spill or mess, but this one really does its job. Silikids is a mom founded brand that offers many other amazing products for your children made entirely out silicone and glass. "Silikids® combines need-based innovation with the technological advantages of SILICONE. The brand focuses on designing safe, modern and practical products offering a new function, while being easy to use and keep clean." I have written about Prima Princessa DVDs before and Grace still loves them. She begs to watch the "ballet movies" often and she enjoys dancing around with the little girls.
