Holiday Gift Guide: Children's Books by Maurice Pledger + Giveaway!

Disclosure: I received these books from Silver Dolphin to facilitate this review. No other compensation was received and all opinions are 100% my own and honest.

It's no secret that we have a book obsession at our house. I love adding fun books to my kids' collections and they each receive several as Christmas presents every year. This year I'm excited to give them each an animal book by Maurice Pledger from Silver Dolphin Books. I was already familiar with Pledger's work as my parents have his Sounds of the Wild: Birds book and Grace wants to read it over and over again when we stay at their house. I've had the opportunity to review Silver Dolphin books in the past and I was thrilled when they offered to send me these to include in my holiday gift guide:

Bobby Bear and the Honeybees is an adorable story about Bobby the Bear on his search for the honey he smells. As he journeys to find his treat, he is joined by other animals who help him find his way. Each page features a lift the flap opportunity and the cover even has a touch and feel fuzzy area. I can't stop "awwwing" over how cute the animals in this book are. It's perfect for my kids who love playing hide and seek and I know that they will love the different animals they will discover throughout the book. This is a board book with thick pages and a sweet, quick story so it is great for little ones.

For your older kids, Pledger has created an amazing sticker activity book called Animal Kingdom Sticker Activity Book: Into the Wild

Made for children ages 3 and up, this book features tons of facts about many fascinating animals. With fun little "did you know" bubbles included on the pages, kids will learn about animals from all over the globe.

The book includes over 300 reusable stickers that can be used to decorate the book's habitat scenes or matched to the illustrations of each animal.

There is also a two sided 22x16 inch poster that I know Grace will want to hang in her room.  I am saving these books as Christmas gifts but I know for a fact that Grace will be playing with this book for hours.

If you have animal lovers in your house, Bobby Bear and the Honeybees and Animal Kingdom Sticker Activity Book: Into the Wild by Maurice Pledger would be amazing gifts. Check out all of Silver Dolphin's other great titles at their website and learn more about them on Facebook and Twitter.
