Thankful for Fluff Giveaway: Green Bees Diapers

I'm so excited to be participating in the Thankful for Fluff Giveaway Hop hosted by the Cloth Diaper Revival and the Cheerful Homemaker! Be sure to check out all of the other blogs for some great fluff giveaways and an amazing grand prize!

When Grace was born, I was bound and determined that I was going to use exclusively cloth diapers with her. Up until I got pregnant with Connor, I mostly accomplished my goal. But with the nausea and exhaustion that I had with the pregnancy, my determination wavered and we took a break from using our fluff. Now that Connor has arrived, we are using cloth again and so I was excited to find out about a wonderful cloth diapering company, Green Bees Diaper Co.

Green Bees prides itself on their high quality, affordable cloth diapers. They are certainly "not the cloth diapers your mamma used!" They offer both pocket diapers and diaper covers and have a ton of designs to choose from. Here's some more information about the company:

For me the cloth diapering decision was and easy one, I never really considered the alternative. I have witnessed the wonderful effects and ease of cloth diapering my son, and I want to make it just as easy for everyone else. Cloth diapering has saved us so much money, and kept at least 1500 diapers out of landfills. The main goal of this project is to further the use of cloth diapering. For every 15 diapers sold, one diaper will be donated to Emergency Infant Services in Tulsa Oklahoma so that a family and need can benefit from the money saving abilities of cloth.

Green Bees sent me a Little Safari Minky Pocket Diaper with 2 microfiber inserts and a White Diaper Cover with a microfiber insert.

From the moment I opened the box, I've been obsessed with this minky diaper. It is so soft and I love the fun print! My only other cloth diapers are solid colors and I've now been drooling over every adorable print that Green Bees sells! Compared to other pockets I've seen, this diaper has a ton of snaps that allow us to get a great fit on Grace. She is a skinny thing, so I often have a hard time getting a tight enough leg fit. The extra snaps at the hip give a nice fit without leaving any red marks on her skin.

I had only ever used pocket style diapers in the past, so I will have to admit that I was nervous to try the diaper cover.  I shouldn't have been. It is so easy to use, you simply slip the insert into the cover and you're ready to go. It's so much faster than having to stuff a pocket diaper! I was worried about the insert staying in place, but even with Grace being extremely active, we have never had a leak! The covers also have tons of snaps allowing for a great custom fit for any child.

I am so happy that we found Green Bees diapers. They are the best value in cloth diapers that I have seen and they quality is wonderful! Plus the prints are all adorable. I will probably be ordering some of these soon:

  34. I know this is an older post but I sure hope you did not put that straight on your child's body...you are not supposed to put those type of inserts straight on the skin, it's bad!

    1. It's actually a combo insert made for diaper covers. One side is microfiber (against the diaper) and the other side is bamboo. Obviously only the bamboo ever touches baby's skin!
