Snuggly Owl Birthday gifts

I knew that I wanted to make Grace's friends birthday presents instead of buying them. It feels so much more personal and helps save money. Several of Grace's friends love owls and they're very trendy right now, so I searched high and low for the perfect stuffed owl pattern. I found the pink rosette fabric at Hobby Lobby and knew that I wanted to do something with it. Little did I know that it is the messiest fabric ever. The moment you cut it, little pink pieces start flying everywhere. Also, I had no idea that minky fabric is really hard to work with! It stretches like crazy making it hard to sew. But even with my minimal sewing skills, I think it turned out pretty cute! I have more birthday gifts to make soon, I keep finding the most adorable things on Pinterest!
